Carea Community Health Centre (CHC) will be at Glen Street Public School to inspire students to choose kindness and respect over bullying. In a society that is driven by social media and technology, anyone can be the target of bullying. According to CKNW Kids’ Fund, over 75% of people say they’ve been bullied. It’s time to take a stand! With the generous support of Black & McDonald Ltd, Carea CHC will be helping the Junior and Senior Kindergarten and Grade 1 students create pink t-shirts with their hand-painted pictures and messages. The Carea CHC Community Facilitator will be there to initiate a conversation around bullying, why it is harmful and what can be done about it. Joining in to help out will be volunteers from Black & McDonald Ltd and the Grade 7 and 8 students from Glen Street. Please join Carea CHC and Black and McDonald for this educational and fun event to help promote kindness!
