Parent Relief

Are you a parent that needs a break? Do you need someone to care for your young children while you attend an appointment? DCHC oﬀers a parent/guardian respite program that can be accessed monthly by individuals who need some child-minding support. Healthy snacks are provided.

The Parent Relief program will operate once a week to provide relief/respite for parents of children ages 12 months to 6 yrs. This program will enable parents to utilize a respite opportunity to attend appointments, such as health care and counselling, conduct job searches, participate in programs/activities, and any other opportunities made possible by the provision of quality child care.
